Naperville Veteran Gets a Surprise Camaro Makeover on his Return Trip Home

JOLIET, Ill., Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- When U.S. Army Captain Morgan Laird was picked up by his wife from the airport last week on his return trip home from Afghanistan, he didn't expect to be making a pit stop at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet. When Mrs. Laird found out that her husband was going to be coming home from overseas, she decided to bring his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro in to Bill Jacobs to get an oil change so that it would be ready for him to drive. The staff at Bill Jacobs found out who the oil change was for, and they wanted to make Captain Laird's return home a little more special. Captain Laird, an Apache Helicopter Pilot who is stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado, was very surprised when he walked into the showroom at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet and saw his Camaro all shined up and sporting some new gear. The auto dealership put a new front grille on the car, a new rear spoiler and new tinted glass throughout. Laird was very appreciative and took the time to greet friends and employees of the auto dealership who came out to watch him see his new car. The dealership's General Sales Manager, Jason Kolodzinski presented Laird with his detailed Camaro and the Captain was pumped to see his shiny, beloved car.
