National League of Cities Announces Congress of Cities Official Sponsors

During the Congress of Cities, attendees will participate in discussions and educational sessions on public finance, infrastructure, sustainability, public safety and economic development. Local officials will hear from Doris Kearns Goodwin, political author and historian, as well as Ed Begley Jr., actor, author and environmental activist.
Attendees will participate in leadership training seminars, have the opportunity to explore the latest products and services from exhibitors, as well as learn about innovative and award-winning programs for cities and towns through the City Showcase.
Mobile workshops include San Antonio River Improvements Projects (Museum Ranch), Office of Emergency Management, Voelcker Park and Linear Creekway Development Program, Haven for Hope Transformational Campus and Mission Verde.
Participants will also have an opportunity to build a playground at San Antonio's West End Park on Friday, November 13, with the help of KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit dedicated to bringing play back into children's lives.
