National Press Club to Hold 'NEWSMAKER' Media Briefing With The Atlantic Council of the United States to Discuss the Council's Report on North Korea

   The Atlantic Council of the United States Will Discuss Its Report on North
                                     Korea.
     The United States has few more important policy goals than eliminating
 North Korea's nuclear weapons program and the danger that it could transfer
 nuclear weapons or materials to rogue states or terrorist groups.
     The Atlantic Council of the United States will release its report,
 "Towards a Comprehensive Settlement in Korea: A Framework for Peace and
 Security in Korea and Northeast Asia," at a National Press Club Newsmaker
 event. This report, compiled by the Atlantic Council's working group on
 U.S. relations with North Korea, calls for a series of parallel
 negotiations on security, political, and economic issues to effectively
 denuclearize North Korea.
     Panelists will be:
