Mitchell will discuss the launch of an initiative on sustainable development, small island economies and the Caribbean's new vision for a dynamic and green hemisphere at a National Press Club Newsmakers news conference on Friday, April 11.
Prime Minister Mitchell – who earned a masters degree at Washington, DC's Howard University and a Doctorate in Mathematics and Statistics from American University – will be attending spring meetings at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, where he will speak about the opportunities for Grenada and other island nations to harness the $6 trillion market for renewable energy and sustainable industries.
