Nation's Top Football Teams Bring Holiday Cheer to City of Hope Pediatric Cancer Patients at Rose Bowl 'Media Day' Photo Session
Teams Square Off Two Days Later at Rose Bowl for National Championship

WHAT: The No. 1 University of Southern California (USC) Trojans and
the No. 2 University of Texas Longhorns will meet City of Hope
pediatric cancer patients and pose for photographs two days
before their bid for the national championship.
WHEN: Monday, January 2, 2006
9 to 10 a.m.: USC Trojan football team meets City of Hope
pediatric patients and their families for photo shoot
(scheduled to include Heisman Trophy winners Reggie Bush and
Matt Leinart).
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: University of Texas Longhorn football team
meets City of Hope pediatric patients and their families for
photo shoot (scheduled to include Heisman Trophy runner-up
Vince Young).
WHERE: Home Depot Center's Indoor Tennis Stadium: 18400 Avalon Blvd.,
Carson
PHOTO/INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES:
* Players and coaches representing the USC Trojans and the
Texas Longhorns
* City of Hope Cancer Center patients and their families,
including high school football player Jorge Hernandez.
Jorge is a 2005 fall recipient of the California
Interscholastic Federation Spirit of Sport Award,
