New Communications Team at Princeton Public Affairs Princeton Strategic Communications Combines Experience with Passion for Craft

Headquartered out of its Trenton office with a team of four seasoned public relations professionals, the new full-service agency already serves the communications needs of existing PPAG clients including the New Jersey Restaurant Association, NiSource, and PublicSchoolOptions.Org.

About Norris Clark

As the Managing Partner of Princeton Strategic Communications, Norris Clark has over a 20-year track record in marketing, communications, and public affairs. Most recently Norris was appointed by the NJ Commissioner of Education and the State Board of Education to lead the Family and Community Relations Office, handling constituent responses and community outreach while forging stakeholder partnerships in support of an ambitious education reform effort.

Clark promoted the Jersey Shore tourism industry winning the New Jersey Governor's Tourism Award in 2010 for his client. Prior to this, Clark was recruited by Ross Perot to help lead a two million-member national advocacy organization, and then as a business development executive for Perot Systems (now Dell), an International provider of technology enabled business solutions. Specializing in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), he served clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue. Then, as a Vice President at Magnet Communications, Clark led the e-Learning Group, providing communications services to Walden University and the Thomson Corporation.

While completing a Masters degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Norris taught college courses and developed continuing education programs in Cape May. Norris is deputy mayor of Lower Township, NJ, where he and his wife Athena reside.

As the Executive Communications Director, Karen Geisel brings 25-plus years of experience in public relations. She specializes in publicity, special events, and national big-picture campaigns. In addition, she has handled issues management for the firearms industry.

Geisel started her career in Seattle, WA, where she eventually became co-owner of The Bean Agency, Inc. that grew to annual billings in the millions, 60-plus employees and offices on both U.S. coasts.

Geisel studied at both New York University (NYU) and the University of Washington (UW). She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the UW in Marketing. She a self-motivated individual who has completed the New York City Marathon and most recently climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
