New Era Debuts Its Latest Styles, Fashions and Collaborations for 2012 at MAGIC Tradeshow
BUFFALO, N.Y., Aug. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era, an international lifestyle brand rooted in sports heritage, will debut its spring 2012 headwear, apparel and accessories collections at MAGIC in Las Vegas, NV, August 22-24, 2011. The lineup will feature an array of products anchored in the theme of World Sports – a theme that's expressed through bright colors, retro logos and graphics inspired from teams and sports across the globe.
Product Highlights
- Taking cues directly from the World Sports theme, New Era will launch a Retro Baseball Collection in January. The collection will consist of nostalgic baseball designs donning "throwback" MLB and Cooperstown logos appealing to both the avid fan and passionate collector. Cap styles will include New Era's iconic 59FIFTY cap and the popular 9FIFTY snapback as well as the unstructured 19TWENTY vintage style and the classic pillbox silhouette.
- New Era knows that "one size does not fit all" even when it comes to the brand's adjustable 9FIFTY snapback cap. The brand has and will continue to take this style and, in typical New Era fashion, bring to market innovative designs elements that take it to the next level.
In November, New Era will launch an Interchangeable 9FIFTY snapback allowing consumers to customize their cap by mixing and matching the colored plastic extensions on the back to hook-up their look.
- A trend that's making a comeback in 2012 is the recognizable tiger-striped print that 'dares to be different' – Zubaz! New Era has partnered with the Minnesota-based brand to launch a line of caps that celebrates the phenomenon of the 'must-have' fan staple of the 90s. The New Era Zubaz caps will be available in all of New Era sports licenses including MLB, Cooperstown, NBA Hardwood Classic and select NHL teams, and will be available in both 59FIFTY and 9FIFTY snapback silhouettes beginning in February.
MAGIC attendees will also be able to view the latest from New Era's Originals line, the fashion-forward EK collection and select apparel and accessories.
