After receiving his doctorate of medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Chipman completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, and his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Following his residency, Dr. Chipman underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in pain medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Chipman is an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
