New Itineraries To & From Quebec Highlight Crystal Serenity's First-Ever Canada/New England Season Complimentary Transfers to/from Montreal Expand Flight Options
LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Crystal Cruises' fall Canada/New England season is one of big firsts: the first time itineraries will begin and end in French Canada's picturesque Quebec City and the first time the award-winning Crystal Serenity will be sailing the season. Also a first, the ultra-luxe line will offer complimentary transfers to/from Quebec and Montreal on embarkation and debarkation days to further expand guests' flight and sightseeing options.
Starting September 19, 2014, Crystal will offer one seven-day and four 10-day voyages that visit some of the most beautiful and fascinating sites on North America's eastern coastline. Depending on the departure, destinations include the tranquilly-isolated Magdalen Islands; historic Boston; quaint Bar Harbor, Maine; fast-paced New York City; millionaires' getaway Newport, Rhode Island; a maiden call in Sydney, Nova Scotia; a rare visit to top-ranked small city, Portland, ME; and more.
All Crystal Canada/New England cruises include an overnight in Quebec City, renowned for its rich blend of northeastern beauty and European style and culture. Ten-day voyages also include overnights in the other city of embarkation or debarkation (i.e., Boston or New York). The season's five sailings are:
- September 29, Quebec City round-trip
- September 19, Boston to Quebec
- October 6, Quebec to New York
- October 16, New York to Quebec
- October 26, Quebec to New York
Other Canada/New England ports planned for the fall include Baie-Comeau, Sept-Iles, and Havre-Saint-Pierre, P.Q.; Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint-Pierre & Miquelon, France (the last remnant of the former "New France" colonies), with cruising along the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Cabot Strait.
"For North Americans, Crystal's Canada/New England itineraries provide an easy getaway on the most highly rated mid-sized luxury ship in the world," says Thomas Mazloum, Crystal's executive vice president. "For international guests, these voyages offer an ideal way to learn about early American history and explore the diversity of the continent's northeast, with logistical convenience and ultra-luxury, as well."
Guests can enjoy the inherent value of a Crystal cruise with the line's "All Inclusive" experience, comprising gratuities, fine wines, premium spirits, dining in the ship's specialty restaurants from the likes of master chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and a wealth of onboard entertainment and enrichment. Additional special savings offers for the fall voyages include optional air add-ons starting as low as $900 per person, perks for large groups of friends or families sailing together, reduced fares for solo cruisers, complimentary third berths for kids, and double Crystal Society benefits on select itineraries. All-inclusive "Book Now" fares for the season start at just $2,880/person, with up to $1,400 in savings if booked by April 30.
Crystal's passion for creating exclusive, eye-opening luxury shore-side experiences are cornerstones of its Crystal Adventures program, earning the line top ratings for two decades.
