Penthouse suite features expanded line of SYLVANIA and Traxon LED solutions

NEW YORK, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA debuted its expanded line of professional LED solutions, including Traxon LED Systems from SYLVANIA. Hosted by newly appointed President and CEO Rick Leaman, the event showcased the superior style and function of SYLVANIA LED systems to the lighting design community.

Sixty percent of the company's present sales are energy-efficient products, and this number is expected to reach 80 percent by 2012. Currently, LED technology accounts for 12 percent of OSRAM SYLVANIA total sales. The company invests 15 percent of the LED sales into research and development (R&D).
