New Scholarship Program Created for Entrepreneurs 18 Years Old & Under!

CHICAGO, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The William Walsh Foundation's CEO and founder of Powerteam International, Bill Walsh, commonly known as America's business expert, announces the launch of a new Scholarship Program specifically geared toward helping young entrepreneurs 18 and under launch, grow, and build a business.

The William Walsh Foundation has initiated this program to enlighten and empower young adults to become successful entrepreneurs and business owners. Starting November 10, 2013, young entrepreneurs nationwide can apply for the scholarship online at: http://www.williamwalshfoundation.com. Through the William Walsh Foundation 5,000 young adults 18 years of age and under will receive a full scholarship to attend the entrepreneurial intensive Rainmaker Summit Entrepreneur Program valued at $2,000 per enrollee.

When asked what led to the creation of this scholarship program, founder Bill Walsh said, "The key to success is to take an idea that serves others and to do something about it. Before our youth gets too focused on what they deem is 'impossible,' let's instill in them the idea that anything is possible when they take action! Let's teach our youth how to launch, grow, and build their ideas into successful businesses!"  

The impressive board consists of industry thought leaders such as Peak Potentials CEO Adam Markel; author of the best selling Three Feet from Gold and financial literacy activist, Sharon Lechter; creator of Kids Empowerment Program and author of 10 Secrets to Empower Kids, Mark Papadas; and CEO of Powerteam International, Bill Walsh. Serving as president is Bill Walsh's daughter, Marissa Walsh, who is currently a full-time college pre-med student.

To celebrate the foundation launch of this Scholarship Program, the William Walsh Foundation will host an open to the public Black Tie Gala event with live music, entertainment, all-star guests and speakers, and a live and silent auction, the proceeds of which will benefit the foundation. This event will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown at 711 South Hope Street in Los Angeles, California.
