New York City Board of Education selects CyberShift's Workplace Management Solution

World's largest school board cites solution's functionality and

provider's reputation as primary reasons for decision; estimates

annual savings of US$10 million

    PARSIPPANY, NJ, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ - CyberShift, Inc., world-leading
 provider of Workplace Management Solutions, today announced that it has signed
 a contract with the New York City Board of Education (NYCBOE) to provide a
 fully integrated time and attendance solution. New Jersey-based CyberShift is
 a premier provider of workplace management technology and services, offering
 state-of-the-art, integrated solutions that automate the centralized
 collection and communication of data about all aspects of employee time and
     CyberShift will host the solution as an ASP, linked to the Board's legacy
 HR and Payroll systems. Under the terms of the contract, the system will
 initially manage the time and attendance data of 500 employees in the Division
 of Financial Operations and is scheduled to go live in December 2001.
 Ultimately, the scope of the project will be expanded to incorporate all of
 the Board's divisions, covering 160,000 employees and 2,100 buildings. The
 total value of the project is expected to be US$15-20 million.
     The Board selected CyberShift over ten major competitors after a thorough
 and rigorous vendor selection process that spanned six months. NYCBOE's
 Director of Business Systems Development, David Wolovick, said, "CyberShift
 demonstrated its ability to handle all the requirements specified in our RFP,
 including the automation of the application of all our civil service and union
 rules. Its web-based CyberShift(R) Server architecture allows customers to
 upgrade to new releases without the costly retrofitting required by almost
 every other package product in the marketplace." The School Board estimates
 that it will save approximately US$10 million per year by implementing the
 CyberShift solution through increased efficiency and accuracy.
