Newbridge Securities Corporation Adds Kathleen Reed to Its Equity Research Team
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Newbridge Securities Corporation ("Newbridge" or the "Firm"), a full service securities broker-dealer and investment bank, is pleased to announce that it has hired Kathleen Reed as a Senior Vice President and Equity Research Analyst to cover the Consumer Products sector. Ms. Reed has an extensive background with over 15 years experience in the industry. In 2007, she was named in the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" survey for the Consumer Products sector and was awarded the Honorable Mention ranking four times by Institutional Investor. Kathy was an analyst with Stanford Group for 5 years and Merrill Lynch for 6 years prior to joining Newbridge. In addition to her responsibilities as an analyst, Ms. Reed was also selected to be one of the first analysts to serve on Stanford's equity research Stock Selection Committee (SSC) where she provided critical review of other analysts' important research pieces, including initiations and ratings changes. She has also been quoted in numerous publications like The Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily and USA Today. Kathy joined Newbridge Securities on October 29, 2009.

Kathy Reed began her Wall Street career in 1994 as a Portfolio Manager at Doheny Asset Management. She earned her BS in Mathematics at the University of Miami and her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
