Nexicon To Be Featured At 3rd International Cyber Investigation Convention

NEUCHATEL, Switzerland and LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO), developer of next generation digital media protection and intelligence solutions, announced today that its powerful MARC(TM) Law Enforcement Platform will be featured at the 3rd International Cyber Investigation Convention, JFIN 2009. JFIN is organized by the International Experts Association for Numeric Investigations (AFSIN) and is taking place in Neuchatel, Switzerland September 1-3, 2009.
Nexicon's partner CSI Expertise(TM), which co-developed the MARC Law Enforcement Platform, will be presenting to an exclusive community of cybercrime experts throughout the French-speaking world and showcasing Nexicon's ability to monitor the Internet and report on cybercrime as it happens.
World-renowned cybercrime expert and Nexicon partner Bertrand (Burt) Marchioro, president of CSI Expertise, will be presenting to a closed audience of state attorneys, judges, cyber detectives and court experts from France, Canada, Belgium, Luxembourg , Monaco and Switzerland. Nexicon's MARC Law Enforcement Platform was developed through a pilot program with French law enforcement authorities, the Gendarmerie Nationale, in an undercover investigation to catch pedophiles exchanging child pornography and has already facilitated in the arrest of offenders.
Marchioro, who was a former detective with the Gendarmerie Nationale, co-founded CSI Expertise along with an active crime scene investigator in a major metropolitan police department in the South Florida area. CSI Expertise continually works with senior cyber crime police officers to develop and improve Nexicon's Law Enforcement Platform in "real time" based on the detective's (or court's) requests. These experts have worked on more than 500 cyber crime cases and are sharing their technical knowledge with Nexicon to continually improve the power and accuracy of the company's Law Enforcement Platform.
