    NEW YORK, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon's smash hit
"mockumentary" comedy series, The Naked Brothers Band, erupts into an
all-out rock-out in the series' first one-hour television movie, Battle of
the Bands premiering on Saturday, October 6 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) and repeating
on Sunday, October 7 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). Band leaders, brothers and real
life rock stars, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff, sign up for the ultimate battle
of the bands charity event that will have them not only dueling for musical
supremacy but competing in an all out lyrical war against rock rivals band,
the L.A. Surfers led by conniving bad boy singer Bobby Love. Nat will not
only compete for center stage but in an unexpected twist of fate ... for
 Rosalina's heart.

"The Battle of the Bands movie has two great songs and big personal
stakes for Nat and Rosalina, both of which will be irresistible to fans,"
says Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Development and Original
Programming, Nickelodeon Networks. "The Naked Brothers Band series has
exploded and continues to grow in popularity as a multiplatform and
 international property for Nickelodeon."
Following the TV movie premiere, Nick Music and Columbia Records will
release the band's highly-anticipated debut album, The Naked Brothers Band,
on Tuesday, October 9. The CD includes 15 original songs from the hit
series, with all music written and performed by the show's stars, Nat Wolff
and Alex Wolff. The album is produced and arranged by Michael Wolff (Nat
and Alex's real-life and television series dad) and Michael A. Levine.
In The Naked Brothers Band one-hour TV movie Battle of the Bands, Nat
Wolff and Alex Wolff along with the gang become entangled in a musical
tug-of- war when the popular and edgier mega-rock band, the L.A. Surfers
are booked to play at the same charity event. The two tween rock bands vie
in an unspoken competition for band supremacy and to Nat's devastation, for
Rosalina's heart when she becomes enchanted by the L.A. Surfers'
self-assured and dreamy lead singer Bobby Love. The real battle heats up
off the mike and behind-the-stage when Nat discovers Love's real motives in
capturing Rosalina's affections in the hopes of disrupting the band by
turning her against them. Blinded by love, Rosalina threatens to quit the
group when Nat's attempts to win her back go wildly awry, jeopardizing the
future of The Naked Brothers Band.
Beginning Monday, October 1, the mini mega-stars from The Naked
Brothers Band will be featured prominently on-air throughout the week
leading up to the Battle of the Bands TV movie debut. In addition, the cast
will answer questions submitted online from fans around the country which
will air on Nickelodeon throughout the week leading up to the premiere.
On Saturday, October 6, TEENick host J. Boogie joins cast members of
The Naked Brothers Band as they host the debut of the highly anticipated
Battle of the Bands TV movie at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). As part of the celebration,
Nickelodeon will air an encore presentation of The Naked Brothers Band
first-ever music video If That's Not Love and the "Behind the Scenes of the
Music Video" which premiered globally on Monday, September 3.
Beginning Saturday, October 6, kids around the country can enter to win
The Naked Brothers All Access Sweepstakes by calling the toll-free, 800#
that will appear on screen. One lucky, kid-winner and a guardian will
travel to New York City to hang with The Naked Brothers Band cast on set,
have lunch with the cast and crew of the show and land a walk-on roll in a
future episode! On Sunday, October 7, Nickelodeon will announce the
sweepstakes winner with a special on-air announcement during the 7 p.m.
encore presentation of Battle of the Bands.
On Sunday, October 7, Bobby Love and Nat Wolff host TEENick's two-hour
programming block from 7-9 p.m. (ET/PT) with Battle of the Bands repeating
at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). Both musicians will offer their take on the one-hour
 movies do-good concert-turned-war. TEENick's J. Boogie serves as moderator
 to the unabashed rock-star "debate."
The premiere of The Naked Brothers Band television series delivered
Nickelodeon's highest-rated premiere in seven years with kids 6-11 and the
series quickly became one of the top programs for tweens on television. The
hit Nickelodeon series continues to break barriers across a variety of
platforms including its broadband media player interactive game and
downloadable podcasts on and iTunes. The series has created a
tween- focused on-line frenzy from fans on through message boards,
 online games and podcasts.
Inspired by the Wolff siblings' real-life, preschool-born band, The
Naked Brothers Band follows a world-famous rock group, chronicling their
fame, friendship, temporary break-up and adolescent experiences. The
cameras track the charismatic, rock stars - led by dreamy, sensitive
singer-songwriter Nat, 12, and energetic, unabashedly adorable drummer
Alex, 9 -- on and off stage, focusing, too, on their celebrity lifestyle
with all of its perks and problems. Featured as well are the Wolff boys'
real-life friends and band mates from pre-school days: cellist Thomas
(Thomas Batuello) and keyboard player David (David Levi), along with
guitarist Qaasim (Qaasim Middleton) and bassist -- Nat's crush -- Rosalina
(Allie DiMeco). Cooper (Cooper Pillot), the band's pint-sized manager,
completes the tween troop, and Jesse (Jesse Draper) is Nat and Alex's ditzy
 tutor/babysitter and real-life cousin.
The second season of The Naked Brothers Band is currently in production
in New York City and will premiere on Nickelodeon in January 2008. The
series recently made its international debut, premiering on Nick UK in May
2007 and will continue to roll out across Nickelodeon's 28 international
channels including Europe, Asia and Latin America. The series has been
nominated for two 2007 Nickelodeon Australia Kids' Choice Awards, a 2007
Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Award, and the movie received a nomination for
a 2007 Teen Choice Award. Additionally, Nat, Alex, and Michael Wolff are
all recipients of the BMI 2007 Cable Award.
