"The Naked Brothers Band series has exploded and continues to grow in popularity as a multiplatform and international property for Nickelodeon." Following the TV movie premiere, Nick Music and Columbia Records will release the band's highly-anticipated debut album, The Naked Brothers Band, on Tuesday, October 9. The CD includes 15 original songs from the hit series, with all music written and performed by the show's stars, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff. The album is produced and arranged by Michael Wolff (Nat and Alex's real-life and television series dad) and Michael A. Levine. In The Naked Brothers Band one-hour TV movie Battle of the Bands, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff along with the gang become entangled in a musical tug-of- war when the popular and edgier mega-rock band, the L.A. Surfers are booked to play at the same charity event. The two tween rock bands vie in an unspoken competition for band supremacy and to Nat's devastation, for Rosalina's heart when she becomes enchanted by the L.A. Surfers' self-assured and dreamy lead singer Bobby Love. The real battle heats up off the mike and behind-the-stage when Nat discovers Love's real motives in capturing Rosalina's affections in the hopes of disrupting the band by turning her against them. Blinded by love, Rosalina threatens to quit the group when Nat's attempts to win her back go wildly awry, jeopardizing the future of The Naked Brothers Band.
