HOUSTON, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Offshore, Ltd. (Oslo Bors: NOF.OL) today announced that its subsidiary, Energy Offshore Ltd., was awarded an extension of its ongoing drilling services contract with Maersk Olie og Gas AS for the jackup Energy Endeavour. The extension is for an additional well plus an optional workover well, commencing in direct continuation from the conclusion of the current well. The extension is expected to keep the Energy Endeavour under contract until late January 2010, or mid-February 2010 if the option is exercised. Excluding the option period, the contract has an estimated value of approximately US$6 million.
