Northern Virginia Technology Council Veterans Employment Initiative to Offer Training Workshop on Hiring Skilled Veterans March 5 event focused on enabling companies to recapitalize their workforce with returning veterans
HERNDON, Va., March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, will host a training event on March 5 designed to recapitalize the workforce of the area's technology companies with America's veterans, transitioning military, and serving National Guard and Reservists.
America's veterans are one of the most sought after talent pools in the country. The training event is designed to teach participants how to recruit, onboard, train and retain the best employees available on the job market: veterans. Attendees will include human resource professionals, recruiters and hiring managers.
Attendees will hear best practices and lessons learned, leaving the event with concrete action steps to:

- Streamline recruiting and onboarding systems
