Oakwood Worldwide Appoints Christopher Ahearn to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing

    LOS ANGELES, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to expand global sales
 and further penetrate Fortune 1000 companies, leading global corporate housing
 and serviced apartment provider, Oakwood Worldwide, has appointed Chris Ahearn
 to senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
     Ahearn will now direct an international sales and marketing force of more
 than 300 employees.  He will be responsible for guiding Oakwood's global sales
 and marketing efforts that currently generate $600 million in annual revenue,
 and ensure the firm's leadership position in the corporate and serviced
 apartment sector.
     Ahearn hails from FedEx Kinko's where he most recently served as vice
 president of marketing, products and strategy for FedEx Kinko's Commercial
 Document Solutions, where he was the driving force behind FedExKinko's new
 offering "Information Logistics" concept that leverages the printing and
 distribution network of the FedEx companies to bring value to customers.
 Initially, Chris was hired as VP of Strategic Accounts for FedEx Kinko's where
 he successfully built a national, strategic selling organization that grew
 significant market share of the Fortune 1,000 companies.  Under his leadership
 the team grew in excess of 38% year over year and grew the number of fortune
 500 customers significantly.
