Every year as part of the CARTES trade show, the SESAMES awards are given to the best new technological innovations and applications in the fields of smart cards, identification, digital security, secure transactions and contactless technology. This year, the jury of industry experts received 309 entries and Oberthur Technologies is a major contender for the finals with four innovations:

The SESAMES Awards will be presented on the evening of November 16, 2009 during a gala evening to celebrate the opening of the CARTES 2009 exhibition.
