CLEVELAND, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lorain County Manufacturing Council (LCMC) announced today that Ohio Lieutenant Governor Bruce Johnson will give the opening remarks at the Nanotechnology Manufacturers' Forum, Thursday, October 20 in Elyria, Ohio. The Forum will help manufacturers understand how nanotechnology can improve their products, generate new market opportunities, and strengthen our economy. The Nanotechnology Manufacturers' Forum is one in a series of events scheduled for NANO Week, a five-day nanotechnology program being held in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. The LCMC forum will take place at the Spitzer Conference Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio. Mr. Johnson will discuss the importance of using cutting edge technology to drive innovation, to create and improve existing products to bolster the region's economy. Mr. Johnson has been an advocate of expanding Ohio's manufacturing sector.
