Omron Healthcare, Inc. Acquires M&M Medi-Medics, S.A. De C.V.

Mexico City-based distributor of Omron products becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Omron Healthcare, Inc.

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Omron Healthcare, Inc. (OHI), a leading marketer of blood pressure monitors in North America, today announced it has completed the acquisition of M&M Medi-Medics, S.A. De C.V., a privately-held healthcare diagnostics distributor, based in Mexico City, Mexico.

This strategic acquisition enables Omron to further strengthen the Omron brand and build direct relationships in this marketplace.

M&M Medi-Medics has been a distributor of Omron healthcare diagnostics products in Mexico for nearly five years. Products distributed include blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, pedometers, body fat analyzers, heart rate monitors and thermometers.
