For those unaware, J.D. Power's APEAL Study is comprised of strictly vehicle owner evaluations on more than 80 different vehicle attributes. J.D Power & Associates then ranks the vehicles based on their ranking in several different aspects, including; vehicle content, vehicle design, vehicle performance and also vehicle layout.

The 2012 Kia Optima wrapped up the highest ranking for the competitive 'Midsize Car' category thanks to Kia's ability to provide excellent amenities and quality at an affordable price.
