Opsview Expands Unified Service Monitoring Capabilities with NetFlow Traffic Analytics
READING, United Kingdom, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Opsview, the leading unified services monitoring vendor, today announced the release of NetFlow Traffic Analytics with Opsview Enterprise 4.4.
The new Network Analyzer module in Opsview Enterprise delivers powerful NetFlow analytics which give network engineers insight into the performance and activity on their networks, enabling fast decision making and capacity planning.
NetFlow has long been established as the industry standard for analyzing data transfer on networks. Network administrators can now use Opsview as the "single pane of glass" to track the flow of network data and identify where devices may be over loaded or underutilized, helping analyze historical performance and predict future problems.
According to Ton Voon, Opsview's Technical Architect, "NetFlow has been high on our user's feature wish-list. Now Opsview Enterprise customers can see detailed reporting data of the activity on their networks - across all their distributed slaves – with views via Opsview's flexible dashboard interface."
Pre-configured dashlets in the new module enable easy access to historical NetFlow activity, top data transfers, top transmitters & receivers and summary of transfers by sources, enabling administrators to build custom dashboards displaying network activity.
"Combined with Opsview's existing server, application and business service monitoring our new Network Analyser provides organizations with a view into all the layers of their infrastructure, delivering end-to-end monitoring of the systems that they rely on," continued Voon.
A feature video and list of key benefits can be found on the Opsview website.
