(NYSE: OWW) today announced the appointment of Tamer Tamar as President, ebookers (http://www.ebookers.com), effective July 30, 2009. Previously Tamer was vice president of Europe and Middle East (EMEA) distribution for Expedia. Tamer will replace Alan Josephs, who is resigning his position within the company to pursue another professional opportunity. Alan will remain with the company through July to ensure a smooth transition.

Prior to joining Expedia, Tamer worked at as a management consultant for Monitor Company and A.T. Kearney. Tamer holds a M.B.A. from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, PA.
