Over 1,400 Acres of Prime Virginia Real Estate to Sell at Auction

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Nicholls Auction Marketing Group (www.NichollsAuction.com) announces the auction of over 1,400 acres of prime Virginia real estate, according to John Nicholls, president of the company.

"We are honored to have been chosen to sell via the auction method of marketing over 1,400 acres of prime Virginia real estate in September," said Nicholls. "These are some beautiful properties with unlimited development potential, including residential housing, wineries, bed and breakfast, corporate retreats, golf courses, hunting and fishing retreats, cattle farming, equestrian facilities. The possibilities are endless."

The premier property at auction consists of 1,173 acres in Culpeper, Va., that will be offered in two parcels and in its entirety.

"This is beautiful land with over 4.5 miles of river frontage on the Hazel and Rappahannock Rivers," said Kelly Strauss, auctioneer. "This is one of the most prominent real estate auctions ever to be conducted in this region. It is rare that the opportunity comes along to purchase such a large parcel."

The second property is a 165 acre farm in Midland, Va. Located in Fauquier County, the property features a two-story home, dairy complex, barns, outbuildings, silos and a pond.

"The minimum starting bid on this property is only $100,000," noted Strauss.

Located in King George, Va., the final property consists of 91 acres of well located raw land to be sold to the highest bidder.

"This property has over 3,000 feet of frontage on Route 3," noted Strauss. "It is totally wooded and will sell regardless of price."

The real estate auctions are open to the public. Bidders must register prior to bidding. Broker participation is encouraged. For more information, visit www.NichollsAuction.com, or call Kelly Strauss at (540) 226-1279.
