PA Department of Labor & Industry to Host 31st Annual Veterans' Day Ceremony
HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Secretary of Labor & Industry Sandi Vito today invited the public to attend the department's 31st annual Veterans' Day Ceremony at noon on Friday, Nov. 6, in the lobby of the Labor & Industry Building at 651 Boas St., Harrisburg.
"This ceremony gives us the opportunity to show our gratitude to the men and women serving in the armed forces," Vito said. "This event also recognizes veterans' families and the sacrifices they have made while their loved ones are away, serving our nation."
The guest speaker will be Col. Frank Joseph Sullivan, director of the Joint Staff, Headquarters, Pennsylvania National Guard.
The Lower Dauphin High School Band will perform musical selections and the Harrisburg High School Naval Junior ROTC will serve as Color Guard.
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present.
