Patton's Storms North American VoIP Market with Year-End Pricing on SmartNode(TM) PRI/T1 and multi-FXS Gateways
Patton launches two best-selling VoIP products in North America with "two-for-one" pricing on the award-winning SmartNode(TM) 4960 PRI/TI VoIP IAD and a 20% discount on the SmartNode(TM) IpChannelBank 4400 multi-FXS gateway-router.
GAITHERSBURG, Md., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Patton -- the leader in business and carrier-class VoIP, network access, connectivity, and video surveillance equipment --- announced today a blitz on the North American VoIP market that engages key reseller partners to offer special year-end pricing on Patton's two best-selling SmartNode(TM) VoIP gateway routers.
Now through December 31st, Patton is engaging a network of retail channel partners to offer buy-one-get-one-free pricing on the SmartNode(TM) 4960 PRI/T1 VoIP IAD and a 20% discount on SmartNode(TM) IpChannelBank(TM) 4400 Multiport FXS gateway router. 888VoIPStore, abpTech, Deerfield, VoIPLink, and VoIPSupply are among Patton's distribution channels offering the special year-end pricing.
"T1 trunking is the most popular PBX telephony service in North America," said John Wu, Patton's VoIP Product Line Manager. "The 4960 delivers NGN SIP-trunking at cost points that actually increase profitability for the business model."
By providing SIP-trunking and PSTN trunking interfaces for IP-PBXs, the low-cost SN4960 enables Telco carriers to offload traffic from expensive TDM infrastructure to lower-cost, new-generation IP networks
Featuring up to four T1 interfaces, two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and supporting 24 to 96 VoIP or fax calls, the SN4960 is ideal for the North American market.
Because any T1 interface can be configured as a WAN-access uplink that supports North America protocols--including HDLC, Frame Relay, and MLPPP--the SN4960 eliminates buying an additional T1 WAN card.
"If you don't want dropped calls when a colleague downloads large files," said John Wu, adds, "you need a VoIP router with advanced QoS."
The SN4960 and SN4400 eliminate the cost of multiple CPE devices by combining VoIP gateway, WAN access and advanced routing functions with full QoS management and Patton's unique DownstreamQoSTM--all in a single low-cost unit.
The SmartNode(TM) 4400, which converts up to 32 traditional analog phone or fax calls to Voice-over-IP, is the only existing multiport FXS VoIP device that combines gateway and router functions in a low-cost standalone form factor.
Since carriers require thousands of units for service roll-out, any CPE cost reduction is multiplied to the provider's bottom line.
