LOS ANGELES, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Paul Legvold has joined the Firm as a Senior Client Partner and a leader in the global Asset Management practice.  He will be based out of Korn/Ferry's New York office, while working closely with West Coast clients and organizations throughout the globe as well.   

Mr. Legvold joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where he was head of the North American Asset Management Practice.  He specializes in investment and wealth management, hedge funds and private equity.  

Mr. Legvold brings to Korn/Ferry extensive experience while leading C-suite engagements for several of the top financial services companies in the industry.   He has also worked with many prominent asset management firms and hedge funds to establish senior distribution teams and strategy.

Mr. Legvold has held several senior-level roles throughout his career in the investment management business, in both New York and California.  He was the senior managing director of Global Distribution at Wilshire Associates, as well as member of the executive team that led the global investment management business at Bankers Trust.  He also held senior management positions at Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York.

Mr. Legvold serves as a Trustee of the Isaac H. Tuttle Fund, which funds programs to assist the elderly in New York City. He is also a member of the Chairman's Council of the Betty Ford Center.  He received a B.A. and M.B.A. in finance from the University of Southern California.
