Paulie Malignaggi Teams Up With Carbon Neutral Investments to Become First Ever Carbon Neutral Boxer
BROOKLYN, N.Y., Oct. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Current WBA Welterweight, Paulie Malignaggi and his team are to become carbon neutral ahead of his high profile fight at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on Saturday.
Paulie, a boxer with Golden Boy Promotions has announced that with the help of Carbon Neutral Investments he and his team are now carbon neutral through offsetting their carbon footprint for the next 12 months.
This weekend he will be facing fellow boxer Pablo Cesar Cano who will be vying to take Paulie's WBA Welterweight title, and so Paulie is using this opportunity to reveal his eco-credentials and his commitment to the environment. The fight, which be held on October 20, is part of the big Golden Boy and Showtime card at Brooklyn's Barclays Centre and will be the first ever boxing show at this exciting new venue.
