SAN DIEGO, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Perspectium Corporation, the leader in enterprise integration, replication & monitoring as a service, and Virteva, a nationally prominent service desk outsourcing provider, have partnered to rapidly enable Service Integration and Management (SIAM) for Virteva and their customers.
As a managed service provider (MSP) for mid-sized organizations, Virteva is required to connect into each of their customers' systems to service their IT needs. But that "swivel-chair integration" meant that they were losing the economies of scale that an MSP relies on. After initially creating REST integrations to connect the customer systems to their own, Virteva figured that there had to be a better way, and partnered with Perspectium.
Virteva chose Perspectium because of their understanding of ServiceNow – the service management system that was in use with most of their customers. Following a quick proof-of-concept, they started to rapidly onboard new customers, and manage them all the same way. Not only did they reduce their onboarding time by more than 80%, they eliminated swivel-chair integration, and introduced common workflows and consistent service levels.
Virteva's EVP of Delivery and Operations, Jamey Anderson said "We were doing SIAM before we even knew that was what it was called. Through our partnership with Perspectium, we have been able to turn SIAM from a concept into something that gives us full data transparency with all our customers."
At the time of their go-live, Virteva discovered that their transaction volume had doubled from their initial estimate. It has since doubled again – and they are now supporting more than 10 million customer transactions each month. Through their partnership, Virteva and Perspectium have been able to create a federated system of record for incidents, lower costs by providing a single place to work for their agents, increased security by not requiring multiple logins, and increased visibility by providing accurate and centralized reporting.
"Perspectium is especially suited for enabling SIAM because we take responsibility for the end-point integrations and ensure that they work through upgrades, and any changes required by the customer or the vendor," said David Loo, Perspectium CEO. "Customers are looking for the ability to integrate to not only one or two service providers, but twenty and more – including the ability to on-board and off-board providers at a rate of 10-20 a year."
Perspectium offers comprehensive systems and application integration solutions to the enterprise. Only Perspectium solves data integration, monitoring, and replication problems with the lowest impact and highest data throughput – all the while retaining control of the data with the data owner.
