KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 12, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix Theatres Willoughby Hills Movies 10 reopened to the public on Tuesday, November 9 after being closed for a short time. During the temporary closure, the property underwent some changes including the introduction of Phoenix Big Cinemas Management to operate and manage the cinema.

The site was identified for the expansion of the Phoenix Big Cinemas Management circuit by its national broker, Jim Samuels, of NAI Daus in Cleveland, OH.  Phoenix Big Cinemas brings extensive theatre experience, as well as, new energy and support to the cinema.

The 10 screen theatre is conveniently situated in The Shoppes of Willoughby Hills located at the corner of Chardon and Bishop Road, directly off of SR 90 at exit 187. The area has plentiful parking, convenient shopping including a Giant Eagle and OfficeMax, and an assortment of local dining options such as Manhattan Deli and Becky's Bistro. Willoughby Hills Movies 10 offers a selection of traditional concessions and refreshments, a game room, and for convenience, online and advance ticketing through MovieTickets.com. The cinema has bargain admission prices throughout the week, with special $1 Tuesdays and the value rate of $1.50 Monday through Thursday. Weekend admission is $1.50 before 6pm and $2.00 in the evenings.

Knoxville-based Phoenix Big Cinemas Management will manage the cinema, which also manages the Phoenix Theatres Eastgate 10 location in the nearby Mayfield Heights area.  Phoenix Big Cinemas Management currently manages 25 theatres with a total of 195 screens in 13 states throughout North America.
