Plainfield Purple Twisters Win Tourney On Way to Nationals

The Plainfield Athletic Clubs's Eich's 12 and under Purple Twisters are working on a great season and they are hoping to add to it later this month when they head out to nationals in Independence, Mississippi. Recently the team won the United States Specialty Sports Association State Tournament, held in Rockford, Illinois. The State Tournament in Rockford last weekend had more than 20 teams participating and included some very stiff competition. The 11 girls on the Purple Twisters are all very talented and are excited to travel to Mississippi to bring home the national title.
