Planned Parenthood Los Angeles' Food Fare Gets Gastronomic With Julia Child

    LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Planned Parenthood Los Angeles's
 (PPLA) is once again hosting Food Fare, their most popular fundraiser of the
 year.
     Food Fare returns to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Thursday, March
 7, 2002 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
     This year's event features world renowned chef Julia Child, who will
 attend the morning session for a book signing of her 40th Anniversary Edition,
 "Mastering the Art of French Cooking."
     Each year approximately 50 of LA's best chefs, restaurants, caterers,
 wineries and others gather at PPLA's Food Fare to show off their culinary
 creations and tasty libations.  Participants in this years Food Fare include:

     Food Fare is a chance for Planned Parenthood supporters or just fans of
 good food and drinks to try some of the best LA has to offer.  Last year's
 Food Fare drew more than 2,000 people and raised more than $360,000 for the
 agency.
     Tickets for Food Fare are $100 for the daytime session (10:30 a.m. -
 2:30 p.m.) and $115 for the evening session (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) if
