Polk to Offer Aftermarket Insight During Upcoming AAPEX Show
Polk executives participate in three sessions; Exhibit at AAPEX highlights latest in Polk's product suite for aftermarket
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Several Polk executives will provide key aftermarket insight as part of the annual Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) being held Nov. 1-3, 2011 in Las Vegas. Polk presentations will include Polk's unique perspective and broad expertise in both the OEM and aftermarket segments of the industry.

Tim Rogers , Polk president, will kick-off the annual AAIA Town Hall meeting with comments on five key trends Polk sees affecting the automotive aftermarket in the coming years. His presentation will take place Wed., Nov. 2 at 7 a.m. in the Venetian Ballroom of the Venetian Hotel.
Following the Town Hall, two of Polk's aftermarket leaders will provide additional aftermarket insight during two separate events. Highlights of their presentations are as follows:
Mark Seng , vice president, aftermarket and commercial vehicle, and Polk's global aftermarket practice leader, will provide further insight into the trends identified at the Town Hall session, and how these trends are affecting business in the aftermarket industry in North America. In addition, Seng will address how the vehicle mix is changing and provide insight on the demographic influences that are shaping this important segment. Seng's presentation will be held on Wed., Nov. 2, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Marco Polo Rooms 701-706 at the Venetian Hotel, Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center Level 1.
Bryan Funke , director, aftermarket and commercial vehicle at Polk, will participate in one of the Learning Forum's Lunch and Learn panel discussions, "New Fuel Technologies: Plug into Profits with Electric and Hybrid Cars." The panel will be held on Wed., Nov. 2 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Marco Polo Rooms 801/802 at the Venetian Hotel, Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center Level 1. Funke's presentation will address current trends in the hybrid/electrical vehicle market and share insight from Polk on how it sees the market developing in the coming years.
In addition to the executive presentations, Polk's suite of aftermarket solutions for the passenger and commercial aftermarket will be featured during the AAPEX Show, Booth #425 at the Sands Expo Center Nov. 1-3, 2011 in Las Vegas.
