Post-Newsweek Signs Contract With Rentrak

 
 

--Top-Ten Market Subscriber, Post-Newsweek, Taps Rentrak for Measurement of Stations in Houston and Miami--

PORTLAND, Ore., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, today announced an agreement with Post-Newsweek (NYSE: WPO), owner and operator of six major market television stations, to provide ABC-affiliate WLPG in Miami and NBC-affiliate KPRC in Houston with media measurement from Rentrak's leading local market service, StationView Essentials.

In order to provide its advertiser and agency clients with a better understanding of audience behaviors based on stable data, Post-Newsweek chose Rentrak to capitalize on the company's Database Currency in these top media markets to attract direct marketing dollars spent by advertisers and to increase advertising dollars by proving audiences are staying tuned through commercials and are reaching the consumers with a propensity to buy the product.
