YONKERS, N.Y., Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Precision Valve Corporation, the global market leader in aerosol valves and dispensing systems, today announced the appointment of Curt Solsvig to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.

In the newly created role, Mr. Solsvig reports directly to Chief Executive Officer and President John Abplanalp and has responsibility for manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing, product development, human resources, and finance and accounting.  Mr. Solsvig also has joined Precision's Board as a Director.   

"Curt will lead our senior management team as it continues to develop and reshape our business to meet the demands of a dynamic marketplace and the changing needs of our customers," Mr. Abplanalp said. Mr. Solsvig's experience in leading organizations spans many industries and more than 25 years in critical leadership roles as both a Corporate Officer (CEO and COO) and advisor.
