Premier Tech makes another acquisition in Europe

RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP, QC, March 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Premier Tech is pleased to announce the acquisition of its partner Falienor, French leader in the formulation of growing media whose head office is located in Vivy, France.

With this acquisition, Premier Tech integrates the renowned expertise of some 110 skilled team members to its European team which is now close to 450. This transaction allows Premier Tech to increase its global presence in Europe, and its Horticultural and Agricultural Group to internationalize its activities beyond North America. While Falienor will continue to operate on the professional growers and nurseries market in France, it will also collaborate with Premier Tech on the deployment of various natural active ingredients (growth stimulants and biological control agents) for the specialized crops and large crops markets.

In business for over 50 years, Falienor is a French leader in the plant industry. This expert in custom-made growing media now leads the competition with its growth strategy based on innovation, communication and customer service.
