Product Design Consultant Nancy Fire to appear on HGTV HOME Makeover Show

NEW YORK, March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Design Works International Creative Director and HGTV HOME Design Director Nancy Fire will appear on the upcoming HGTV HOME Makeover special, hosted by Meg Caswell (March 23 and 29). The show will give a "behind the scenes" look at the HGTV HOME brand, a curated collection of furniture, paint, lighting, flooring, textiles, furnishings and more.

Nancy was appointed Design Director for the HGTV HOME brand in 2011. And from the beginning, her goal has been to develop, as part of the HGTV team, the overall product line and brand image. She has been involved throughout the product design and development process for HGTV HOME, exploring the latest design and product trends, researching and creating color palettes, styling, and more.

"The core design philosophy of HGTV HOME," says Nancy, "is to make it easy for our viewers to create smart, inspired spaces …and to be savvy in their style choices." We wanted the collection to be "as special as possible," she says.

Part of the HGTV HOME Makeover special was filmed inside Design Works International's studio, New York.
