Publicis Healthcare To Take The Stage At Inaugural Cannes Lions Health Festival
NEW YORK, May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Publicis Healthcare Communications Group will take the stage at the inaugural Cannes Lions Health Festival. Cannes Lions Festivals, with a rich, 60-year history of celebrating the best creativity in advertising and marketing, has created a separate festival to gather the industry around discussing the unique creative challenges in health and wellness.
Publicis Healthcare will contribute its leadership and expertise in these ways:
- Jury President: Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness Global Chief Creative Officer Kathy Delaney was named to the prominent position of president for the festival's Health & Wellness jury. The Health & Wellness jury, one of two juries at the event, is charged with judging creative submissions related to consumer products, education, or service campaigns.
"When I first started attending Cannes Lions, health and wellness marketing wasn't even on the radar at the festival," said Delaney. - Jurors: Alexandra von Plato, President and Global Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Healthcare, was selected to serve on the Pharma jury, which will judge creative entries submitted to the Pharma Communications, Healthcare Professionals, and Non-Healthcare Professionals category. Digitas Health's Jacqueline Nolan, Executive Creative Director (USA), will join Delaney on the Health & Wellness jury as a juror.
- Main Stage presentation featuring Jim Stengel: Lions Health centers on two days of presentations featuring a speaker line-up of the most awarded creatives and marketers in healthcare. Publicis Healthcare will present "Building an Inspired Organization Now," featuring keynote speaker Jim Stengel, former Chief Marketing Officer of Procter & Gamble, Founder of The Jim Stengel Company, and author of Grow.
Stengel will be joined by von Plato and Publicis Healthcare CEO Nick Colucci. Together, they will discuss how a new generation of creative leaders can transform healthcare marketing and encourage people to take better control of their health. With improved consumer engagement in the marketplace, an organization's business can grow at rate triple that of its competitors.
