that familiar van is getting set to hit the road again. Americans
everywhere will once again be on the lookout for the Prize Patrol van, as
Publishers Clearing House has announced the return of the "Enter Today, Win
Tomorrow!" sweepstakes, which will culminate with a surprise visit to an
unsuspecting winner who will receive a Big Check for $10 million on
 February 28th.
Publishers Clearing House, which has awarded nearly $200 million since
the inception of its sweepstakes program in 1967, will be giving away daily
prizes ranging from $100 to $10 million beginning now until February 28th,
when the Prize Patrol will arrive at the home of the $10 million winner in
a live commercial that will air during "NBC Nightly News."
The Prize Patrol, headed by Dave Sayer, a 25-year veteran of the
company, has delivered prizes to winners in all but two of the 50 states
and has become an American icon.
"I've traveled all over the country and it's amazing how everyone
recognizes the Prize Patrol van and realizes what it stands for," said Mr.
Sayer, Executive Director of Publishers Clearing House.
Now through February 16th, Americans can increase their chances of
becoming a millionaire, or rather a multimillionaire, by taking 30 seconds
to visit and completing an online entry form for a
chance to win the $10 Million SuperPrize(R) and a host of other prizes.
Although participants who enter after February 16th will not be eligible
for the $10 million prize, consumers can enter to win prizes of up to
 $100,000 through February 28th.
"We've had the wonderful opportunity of sharing in so many joyful
experiences with past winners over the years and we look forward to the
next big Publishers Clearing House moment come February," said Mr. Sayer.
The Web site also features a countdown clock that
reflects the time remaining before the next Daily Winner is selected.
