The creative bar staff mixed up quite a concoction of the available-in-Texas-only Pura Vida tequila-laden tasty beverages for over 200 VIP guests, including Gibbons and a couple of his rock-god guitar slingin' pals, a few of major league baseball's finest, one WWE legend and a slew of who's who among the Houston elite – even a few avid ZZ Top fans who traveled to Houston from as far away as Moscow, Guadalajara, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Gibbons proudly passed the Pura Vida around to guests while sipping on this fine, triple distilled 100% pure blue weber agave tequila, pledging allegiance to this intoxicating drink. The lucky invitees paired their luscious elixirs, enjoying each of three Pura Vida handcrafted tequila varieties to compliment the delicious café appetizers.

Gibbons' recent financial investment in Pura Vida provided him a way to work with a company that personified his own larger-than-life persona: accomplished, self-assured, outgoing and adventurous.
