NEW YORK, July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Miles Everson has been appointed U.S. Advisory Services Leader, effective immediately. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing over 10,000 professionals focused on consulting, deals and forensics services. Everson succeeds Dana Mcilwain, PwC partner and Vice Chair, who has been promoted to the new position of PwC Services Leader.

Everson previously served on the firm's U.S. Advisory leadership team as Advisory Financial Services Leader, and earlier as Advisory Banking & Capital Markets Sector co-leader. He was also PwC's Global Advisory Risk Consulting Leader, focused on helping large complex organizations with enterprise governance and risk management programs. With over 25 years of professional services experience, he currently works with some of the largest organizations in the world.

He will also continue to focus on the continued development of Advisory's global operating model as a member of the Global Advisory Leadership Team.
