Through this alliance, PwC will provide ongoing support and lend its consulting expertise to Galvanize's more than 300 community members of innovators and entrepreneurs who share Galvanize's state-of-the-art facility with the goal of generating new business ideas through collaboration.

"We are exceptionally excited to have PwC join the Galvanize community as a strategic partner," said Chris Onan, Managing Director and co-Founder of Galvanize.  "Our community is hungry for the type of experience PwC brings to the table – battle-tested leading practices that are used by some of the most successful names in the high-growth, technology market."

In addition to PwC's involvement with Galvanize, the firm's Denver office has been dedicated to strengthening the region's focus on innovation by supporting other new initiatives including the Governor's Office of Economic Development and International Trade's Colorado Innovation Network (COIN). PwC is the lead sponsor for COIN's Glorious Failures competition, which celebrates groundbreaking ideas in business innovation.

"We recognize the importance of investing in Colorado's entrepreneurial community that is creating innovations that fuel job growth and the economy," said Keith Parsons, PwC Denver's technology and emerging company services practice leader.  "The Galvanize model and their impressive growth strategy will be a key contributor to positioning Colorado as a leader of innovation in the U.S."

Under Parsons's direction, PwC has also taken an active role in leveraging the firm's global technology resources to support Colorado organizations including the Colorado Technology Association, Colorado Cleantech Industry Association, CU Cleantech, and the Colorado Alliance for Manufacturing.

Galvanize has announced plans to open another Colorado location in 2014 and is exploring expansion to other cities within the next several years.
