QVC Expands Mobile Presence with Launch of App for App Store Unique Speed Buy(R) Feature Enables iPhone and iPod touch Users to Shop QVC Anywhere

West Chester, Pa., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- QVC, one of the world's leading multimedia retailers, today announced that it is expanding its mobile presence with the launch of an application for iPhone( )and iPod touch on the App Store. The app enables the more than 50 million users of these devices to shop QVC anywhere.

Providing access to QVC's signature programming hallmarks, the QVC App allows users to view the Today's Special Value(®) (an item offered at an exceptionally low price -- good for that given day, until 11:59 p.m. (ET), unless it sells out sooner) and One Time Only( )Value (an item offered at an exceptionally low price, for a limited amount of time). Additionally, users can shop QVC's live show through the "Current Item On-Air" and "Items Recently On-Air" features. The app provides for a fast, seamless transactional experience, allowing QVC customers to make purchases directly through its Speed Buy(® )feature (new customers can easily make purchases through the app's "Call to Order" function).

The QVC App provides users with the interactive ability to share products via e-mail with friends or send to one's self as a reminder. It is equipped with full search capabilities, allowing users to search the multimedia retailer's inventory of approximately 95,000 items by product description, item number, word or brand. Additionally, with one tap, users can view product images, information, sizing and color swatches.

In January 2009, QVC made its mobile debut, rolling out a suite of services, including features to receive mobile alerts and to buy items sold on QVC via text ordering. Additionally, it simultaneously unveiled its mobile Web site, m.QVC.com, where customers can browse QVC product, show information and make purchases.
