Rachel Vaziralli Named Winner of the "Fit or Flop" Debut Season

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- APOGEE Media is thrilled to announce Rachel Vaziralli as the Season 1 winner of Fit or Flop. Fit or Flop, an innovative web series launched on August 1 challenges personal trainers and fitness instructors to demonstrate why they were worthy of the crown of America's Best Fitness Star.  Contestants came to the auditions prepared to demonstrate their fitness brands to panels of fitness experts. Online viewers watched selected contestants' auditions, viewed full episodes and voted for their favorite trainers on www.fitorflop.com.

Virginia Beach native, Rachel Vaziralli was named the Grand Prize Winner of the first season of Fit or Flop and received a $150K prize package of video and promotional services from APOGEE Media.  Vaziralli's fitness brand, Face F.E.A.R Fitness (Fierce Exercises for Amazing Results) and her dedication propelled her to take home the crown. She hopes to use her method to help individuals overcome their fears. Vaziralli said, "The whole point of Face F.E.A.R. fitness is not to be fearful and to figure out what holds you back from being able to reach your goals. I think if someone can really define or hone in on what's holding them back, they'll be able to finally move forward and part of a good trainer is helping them figure that out." Vaziralli is a Schwinn Master Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Model, Personal Trainer and Coach.  She teaches several classes at Equinox in New York City including cycling, treadmill race training, Kettlebells, Bosu, Tabata and ViPR. Vaziralli is currently working on her Master's in Exercise Science & Cardiac Rehabilitation at Brooklyn College.
