RUS Acceptance of RADWIN 2000 Allows US Service Providers to Use Federal Rural Broadband Funding to Deploy RADWIN's Solutions

TEL-AVIV, Israel, October 27 /PRNewswire/ -- RADWIN (http://www.radwin.com), a leading provider of Backhaul and Broadband Wireless Solutions, today announced that its RADWIN 2000 microwave radio received USDA Rural Development acceptance and "Buy American" status from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service. RUS (Rural Utilities Service) acceptance and "Buy American" status are required for service providers who request federal funds from the Broadband Initiative program (BIP), which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), for the purpose of purchasing and deploying broadband networks and systems.
