Harleysville-area family business plans to run township's first solar powered pharmacy to reduce impact on climate and maintain low costs

HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Rann Pharmacy, Inc. announced today that they have commissioned Aztec Solar Power (www.aztecsolarpower.com), Philadelphia's leading clean-energy solar company, to deliver their business clean energy solutions. Aztec Solar Power will install solar panels, Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31, on the roof of Rann Pharmacy which is located in Lower Salford Township, PA. The Montgomery County-pharmacy anticipates their new solar electric system will reduce the business' reliance on traditional electric and will generate numerous environmental benefits -- thus saving the business and local community money, all the while reducing their greenhouse gas emissions by 457 tons of CO 2 over the lifespan of the system.
