Raymond C. Mines Promoted to Executive Vice President, Franchise Relations at McDonald's USA
OAK BROOK, Ill., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Alan D. Feldman, President of
McDonald's USA, today announced the promotion of Raymond C. Mines to Executive
Vice President, Franchise Relations, McDonald's USA.
In this position, he is responsible for working with McDonald's USA's
five Division Presidents to maintain a sharp focus on the needs and concerns
of restaurant franchisees.
Previously, Mines served as Senior Vice President of Franchise Relations
for McDonald's USA. Prior to this, Mines was Senior Vice President and Zone
Manager responsible for the operations of nearly 1,500 McDonald's restaurants
in the company's Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle and Portland regions.
Mines joined McDonald's in 1975 as a restaurant manager in Newark, New
Jersey. Over the next 10 years, he has held a variety of positions from field
operations consultant to staff director of field operations. In 1984, he was
named regional manager for the Columbus, Ohio region, before being promoted to
senior regional manager in 1986. In 1988, he was promoted to Regional Vice
President, and then to Vice President and Zone Manager in 1991.
A native of Plainfield, New Jersey, Mines earned his degree in
transportation management from the Academy of Traffic and Transportation
at Rutgers University.
He serves on the board of directors of Children's Memorial Hospital,
the Chicago Urban League and the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation.
In addition, Mines serves on the advisory boards of the United Negro College
Fund and Northern Trust Bank of Naperville.
He and his wife have two children and reside in the western suburbs
of Chicago, Illinois.
