WASHINGTON, November 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Razoo.com (http://www.razoo.com/), a leading online giving marketplace, today completed a historic Give to the Max Day with GiveMN.org (http://www.givemn.org/), a new community-based giving portal serving the state of Minnesota. Launched only weeks ago, GiveMN.org used Razoo.com's proprietary platform to hold a one-day fundraising event which has set unprecedented levels of giving for community-based match days, with over $14 million donated by more than 35,000 donors to over 3,000 nonprofits -the largest one-day online fund-raising event of its kind.

Give to the Max Day was conceived as a day for donors and nonprofits in Minnesota to come together to raise significant funds for their communities. It was spearheaded by The Bush Foundation, The Minneapolis Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation, who offered giving incentives totaling over $1 million to cover transaction fees and offer to match a portion of every donation. Together these organizations used GiveMN.org and "Give to the Max Day" to leverage giving in Minnesota at a ratio of 13 to 1.

In addition to mobilizing over $14 million for Minnesota nonprofits, Give to the Max Day has caught the imagination of Minnesota residents.
