MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, October 15, more than 45,000 Regis Corporation (NYSE: RGS) stylists across the United States and Canada joined forces with salon guests to raise money for breast cancer research during the company's annual Clip for the Cure haircutting event. Nearly 7,000 corporate and franchised Regis Corp. salons participated in the day-long event.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Regis Corporation's Clip for the Cure event is part of the company's month-long fundraising campaign. The company donates 10% of the proceeds from each haircut to the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, which supports organizations that focus on early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and finding a cure for breast cancer.
